Not very long ago, the children of villages and toy shops thought that the world of computers was nothing short of magic. They thought that computers were only available in big blocks in cities. But Holy Cross Public School changed this thinking.

When a little student Aryan entered the school’s computer lab for the first time, his eyes lit up. A big room, quiet and clean, a gleaming computer on every desk, inspirational posters on the wall, and a gleaming ma’am in front, who was going to introduce the children to the world of technology. Just like Aryan, for every child in the school, this place was not just a room; it was a door to a new world.

🌐First Introduction to Technology
When children touched the mouse for the first time, put fingers on the keyboard, and saw their names typed on the screen, their joy was unspeakable. They now understood how big the world is and how they, too, can be a part of it.

From Class 1 itself, children draw in Paint, type their names in MS Word, and gradually learn to make paintings in PowerPoint. Every day becomes an adventure for them, making new friendships, downloading computers, and connecting with the digital world.

🧠New Way of Learning
The teachers at Holy Cross Public School don’t just teach, but go on a journey with the children to learn, understand, and unlearn. Every class has a story in the computer lab, where students are taught to create projects, study online, solve math problems, and type stories.

Students are taught how to do Google searches, use email, stay safe online, and even code. All this not only helps them in their studies, but also helps them in preparing for the future.

This lab doesn’t only teach technology, it’s where dreams take flight.

Students develop leadership skills, are trained in teamwork, and are taught to share each other’s burdens and work together.

The child who was earlier afraid of learning about computers is now making presentations, explaining to teachers, and telling his parents that “I know everything now.”
